Our Story

25 years ago our mother, Antonietta, purchased Filippos Hair and Body. We worked together as a family to create a welcoming and trusting environment for our clients. Antonietta’s daughter, Tina, began hairdressing at the age of 14 years old, where she started out as a shampoo tech prior to her mother gaining ownership of the salon. When her mother purchased the salon, Tina got her license in hairdressing, the same year that her younger sister, Tracy, became licensed as a nail technician. The two of them worked under their mother for 25 years, in which they underwent a location change and renovations, before finally purchasing the salon from their mother in March of 2023. Operating under the name “Filippo’s” for their entire careers, they decided with the new ownership should come a new name. Combining the names of Tina’s two daughters and Tracy’s daughter, Gabriella, Isabella, and Ariana, GIA Hair Studio was established.
